Aplus offers two lines of products: NVM Memory Products and a NVM Embedded Library. For NVM embedded applications we develop innovative, high-performance ROM, OTP, NTP, EEPROM and Flash IP blocks. For the NVM storage markets, we offer data, code and combination NVM products.

We provide high quality, wide-range solutions for our customers' designs in cellular phones, BIOS, DVDs, E-books, smart cards, personal digital assistants (PDAs), internet appliances, communication and networking systems, modems, video games and other consumer electronics.

NVM Memory Products

Aplus offers a range of memory products to suit your varying needs. Our stand alone flash products are meant to give you flexible, low-power, cost-effective alternatives to today's nvm flash products, while our OTP and EEPROM products serve as low-cost, high-performance options for your current memory.

Aplus' Flash utilizes a novel flash technology that intends to provide the best quality in P/E cycles for high-density Flash family products needing concurrent read-write capabilities. Our 64Mb (1Tr-cell, 0.18um) features a smaller die size and lower write currents than the current Flash technology, and high program/erase cycles(1,000,000 cycles). It is currently under development at a leading foundry and will be ready for the high-end Flash market towards the end of 2003.

NVM Embedded IP Library

Aplus specializes in embedded memory - all of our designs are geared for low power consumption, high density and high performance requirements. Our embedded memory products fall in five main areas and also includes SRAM:

  • ROM (1-Tr)
  • OTP (1-Tr)
  • NTP (1-Tr)
  • EEPROM (2-Tr)
  • Flash (under development)
  • SRAM (6-Tr)

Our OTP and NTP memory blocks offer two VDD operating voltages (1.8V-3.6V & 2.4V-5.5V) and the lowest operating current for the One Time and Numerous Time (>1,000) programming market, respectively. For die cost savings and a smaller silicon area, OTP and NTP IPs do not allow for in-system reprogrammability. Since 1990, our proven OTP Embedded Block Library has been licensed to countless customers at many leading foundries.

Our embedded ROM is a Flat-Cell ROM using a BN+ bitline. It has a wide operating voltage of 1.8V to 5.5V, and a low standby current. Our proprietary design techniques also reduce its die size dramatically for cost efficiency.

Our EEPROM and Flash Embedded IPs offer in-system reprogrammability on a flexible Byte and Page and Chip basis. Our EEPROM IP is offered in a variety of densities, devices and die sizes to give our customers ultimate flexibility in cost and performance. Aplus' embedded Flash IP is under development.

Our SRAM is a truly NVM compatible SRAM, optimized for use with non-volatile memory. This differs from the standard SRAM offered by foundries, which are only logic compatible.
