Aplus Flash Technology celebrates its
one year anniversary of operations in Shanghai
Shanghai, March 3, 2004 - Aplus Flash
Technology recently celebrated its one-year anniversary of
operations in Shanghai by holding a press conference and luncheon
at the Riverfront Business Hotel in the Zhang Jiang High Tech
district of Pudong, Shanghai. Over 30 guests from the semiconductors
industry and 12 radio and print media were in attendance.
The news conference highlighted three of
Aplus' major achievements in 2003. One, becoming one of the
three IP partners names by SMIC, a leading, advanced pure-play
foundry in China, alongside world renowned such as ARM and
Mosys, who are No.1 and No.10 in worldwide IP revenue standings.
The second milestone was the availability of Aplus' 0.35um
EEPROM IP at SMIC for volume production in a wide density
and Vdd offering. Aplus' EEPROM is most suitable for smart
cards and SIM card applications, both of which are fast-growing
technologies that are being more rapidly adopted globally.
Lastly, Aplus has established a strategic partnership with
a leading Chinese foundry to develop a revolutionary 0.18um
and 0.13um Flash and EEPROM technology for embedded and stand-alone
applications. Peter Lee, CEO, and Dr. Han-Rei Ma, Aplus' VP
of Business Development and General Manager of the Shanghai

Aplus continues to grab new design
wins and IP customers

Aplus Flash Technology recently signed
several new licensing customers for its line of non-volatile
memory IP. These customers will be running on an upcoming
shuttle at the end of April, embedding Aplus' 0.35um EEPROM
IP into their designs for applications ranging from smart
cards to computer modules to consumer microcontrollers.

Aplus has a variety of NVM IP offerings
currently available for license, in a standard or customized
design. We've currently won some new customers for our EEPROM
