Aplus Flash Technology: Entering the China Smart Card and SIM Card Market with its EEPROM & Flash Technology

Aplus Flash Technology was recently featured in several Bay Area Chinese newspapers regarding Aplus' entry into the growing China smart card and SIM card market. Aplus discussed its strategy for entering the Chinese market as an IP provider, and its positioning as an "Intellectual Partner" to local companies leading smart card design and development in China. Due to the high security nature of the smart card market in China, as well as the heavy government involvement, the smart card market is still largely dominated by local Chinese companies.

Aplus looks to enter the market as an embedded memory IP partner with its currently available 0.35um EEPROM and its next-generation embedded Flash+EEPROM MaxFlash solution.
